Choosing a photographer for your upcoming Wedding or Event in Venice it's not a simple task, and I know that you are visiting my web site because you wish to see what's on the market before making a final choice and check if the cost is within your budget, but what you really want from your Wedding Photography is memories and feeling.

My Wedding Photography is a blend of Fine Art Wedding Photography and Wedding Photojournalism which is "capturing" the image, not "creating". The images of your Wedding are provided on DVDs in a high resolution format (RAW & JPEG). These are un-retouched, high resolution files suitable for printing through any professional lab of your choice or by yourself with your own computer and photo printer. The cameras used is the Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III and Canon EOS 5D Mark II, can capture beautiful, amazingly detailed images. A CR2 file coming from this cameras contains a level of detail, dynamic range, tonality and overall quality that is hard to match, (source from Internet: Rob Galbraith, DPReview amongst others). It is also provided the Canon Software: Digital Photo Professional, advanced image workflow and editing, specialized in CR2 (RAW) conversion with a range of adjustment and output options.

What are 'digital negatives' and why do I want them? Digital negatives are the raw camera files made by a digital camera. These files contain every bit of information captured by the camera for each photograph. The files must then be processed into .jpeg or .tiff files in order to be printed. I include the CR2 files with my packages for two main reasons. First, if you visit a high-end print shop, they may prefer to work with the original RAW file for very large or high-quality prints. Even more importantly the digital negatives are, in effect, the original photographs, and I believe my clients should have a copy of the originals for archvival purposes.

Standard Photographic Coverage (three hours time) and some shots suggestion:

Not less then 400 high resolution un-retouched, colour photos (files) in CR2 (RAW) & JPG format. Just to offer you a wide choice of photos, to plan at the best your Wedding Album (not included but available on request). Additional options are priced individually, since no two couples have the same preferences. Additionally, I will work with each client individually to ensure you get what you want and have a lasting documentation of your wedding day.
eg: Pre Wedding preparations, going to the Wedding, the Wedding. Posing and group shots, a walk through the Venice "Calli". A romantic Gondola ride on the Gran Canal (Gondola Cost not included in the fee). Cutting the cake, the toast... and I'm ready, of course, to follow all your request!
